Prevent Bath Time Burns
test water temperature before placing child in bath.
If base of ducky reads HOT - water is too hot, shows blue - water is OK to bathe in.
Hot tap water can cause severe injuries to babies and toddlers. The failure to take simple precautions leads to tragic scalding accidents every year. Munchkin's White Hot® Safety Bath Ducky offers a unique safeguard against scalding from hot bathwater. The Ducky's unique safety disc changes color to spell "HOT" to warn you of scalding danger to your child.

Simply place Safety Bath Ducky in the tub before allowing child in the water. Let Safety Bath Ducky sit for one minute then left to check the safety disc underneath the duck. If safety disc spells "HOT" bath is too hot for baby (approximately 103° - 104° F/ 39.4° - 40°C) Allow water to cool down or add cold water until the original color returns to safety disc, indicating a safe bathing temperature (approximately 98° F / 36.7°C) Safety Bath Ducky is also water-tight to prevent sinking, squirting and mildew.
To Clean:
Wash in warm soapy water and rinse with clear water.

Remove all packaging components and discard immediately. Always check temperature of water before placing child in bath. As an extra precaution, an adult should test water with their own hand before placing child in bath. Do not rely solely on accuracy of safety disc as color change function may cease to work properly and may become worn over time. Test Safety Bath Ducky regularly and replace at first sign of water. Never leave baby unattended while bathing. Babies can drown in less than one inch of water. Water level should not reach baby's shoulders. This product should be used under adult supervision.
