The Mammut Albula IN Hybrid Jacket not only moderates our temperature, but also demonstrates eco-friendly production choices. It's a "hybrid" in the sense that it's partially insulated—the front and back of the jacket feature light and lofty synthetic down to insulate our core while the sides and inner arms feature stretchy inserts for added breathability and mobility. The production of outdoor clothing is hard on the environment, but Mammut checks several sustainability boxes here by using resource-saving dope dye processes, a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent, and recycled materials, including Ecodown recycled synthetic fibers for insulation. All this adds up to sustainable, cold-weather layering piece that keeps us warm—but not too warm—on our climbs, hikes, and ski tours.
