Iconic Style
The Men’s adidas Samba Classic is one of adidas’ most iconic sneakers of all time. In production virtually every year since it debuted in 1950, the Samba was originally designed by adidas as a soccer training shoe built for players to train on frozen outdoor pitches.
In the years since, the clean and simple look of the Samba has gone on to become one of the most globally worn casual sneakers from adidas, or any other brand for that matter. Worn casually by everyone from soccer players to punk rockers, the Samba has proven to be one of the most versatile sneakers of all time, and an absolute essential piece of adidas sneaker history.
True to the Original
Just like the original design from 1950, the Samba Classic is constructed in a durable leather upper with suede detailing for the toe cap paneling. The Samba’s other signature element: the gum rubber outsole for maximum grip on the pitch and a clean look on the streets. The Samba Classic also features the traditional large tongue, originally designed for soccer performance. One more vintage detail adds the final touch: the classic serrated edges of the Three Stripes branding on each side of the shoe. The Men’s Samba Classic is available in its two traditional color options of white with black accents and back with white accents, each with a gum sole and metallic gold “Samba” branding on the later side parallel to the Three Stripes.
