The humble bumblebee has been a part of Gucci’s bestiary long before the appointment of Alessandro Michele as Creative Director – the insect, which has long been associated with European nobility, was first utilised by the Italian House in the 1970s. Now a key symbol for the brand, it’s worked its way across every offering, from ready-to-wear and home accessories to jewellery and – as presented here – watches. In the G-Timeless model, three of them take the place of traditional indices, along with newer motifs including the heart and star.
