The Opening Ceremony x Vans Classic Slip-On "Translucent" introduces a progressive approach to sneaker design with this collaborative project. Launched in the middle of summer 2019, Vans worked with the American-based clothing brand and retailer to create a capsule collection featuring the Classic Slip-On made from malleable transparent PVC. Completely tonal, this pair is created in black with stitching, a sole unit, and waffle outsole in the same color. A Vans tag and branded license plate label the exterior, while a joint logo marks the shoe's insole.
