说起A.P.C.，总会想起简约两字，事实上已有二十年历史的A.P.C.，并非单靠简约两个字便可概括，设计师Jean Touitou 的设计虽然以简约为主，但凭他经常在设计中渗入艺术、音乐元素，以及和不同设计师的合作，令A.P.C.成独特的法国时装名字，及时装界人仕的宠儿。全名为“Atelier de Production et de Creation”的A.P.C.由Jean Touitou在1988年创立。这位在突尼西亚出生的设计师以“minimalism”简约的风格出发，主打衣柜里的基本服饰，T-shirt、恤衫、牛仔系列、拉链外套、风衣，都是A.P.C.每季的必备款式，只是在质料或款式略为改变，从此A.P.C.成了法国简约风格的代号。
