YSL Or Rouge L’huile harnesses a new formula, taking inspiration from the Moroccan bridal Hammam oil ceremony, where the most precious and rarest concoctions of oils are used to prepare the bride for her special day. Saffron extract from Morocco is blended alongside red algae extract with 5 botanical oils: argan oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, carthame oil and evening primrose oil. With this fusion of ingredients, YSL Or Rouge L’huile moisturises the skin, leaving a softer and smoother complexion with enhanced radiance.
The precious saffron flowers in YSL Or Rouge L’huile are harvested by hand in the heights of the Atlas Mountains in the YSL Ourika Gardens. The pistils of Saffron are then delicately extracted from the heart of the flower and carefully dried, before being stored in airtight and lightproof glass jars, ready to be used as an exceptional ingredient.
